It has a flat, tall shape with a rectangular base and is designed to be carried on the back. The basket is used for carrying personal belongings, food, or seeds during travel or farming. Kaleb baskets are also important in Tai Dam wedding traditions, where the groom carries betel and areca nuts in the basket to the bride\u2019s house as part of the ceremony. The craft of weaving Kaleb reflects the traditional knowledge and lifestyle of the Tai Dam
