Later, in <strong>1962<\/strong>, when the curriculum changed to agricultural technology, the <strong>\u201cBuffalo Head Gate\u201d<\/strong> was built as a symbol of the buffalo, an important working animal in agriculture. The construction was supervised by <strong>Ajarn Chan Chiaosilp<\/strong>, and the gate later became popularly known as the <strong>\u201cBuffalo Horn Gate.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>1975<\/strong>, the original gate was demolished when the institution was upgraded to an institute of technology. However, <strong>Ajarn Somporn Yoktri<\/strong> and <strong>Ajarn Wipat Boonsri Wangsai<\/strong> proposed preserving its spirit.
