style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br \/>The <strong>\u201cCart Pullers\u201d sculpture<\/strong> was inspired by a historic photograph from Maejo showing four individuals working together to pull a cart: <strong>Boonrod Boonbongkan<\/strong> (front of the cart), <strong>Payont Sornlamph<\/strong> and <strong>Taeo Sitthiphong<\/strong> (at the wheels), and <strong>Piw Komolwanit<\/strong> (rear of the cart). Although the exact year of the photograph is unknown, the image inspired the creation of the sculpture under the motto <strong>\u201cHard work never killed anyone.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sculpture was created by <strong>Maejo Alumni Class 65<\/strong> as a memorial to inspire future generations. Construction began on <strong>16 December 2003<\/strong>, was completed on <strong>30 January 2004<\/strong>, and was presented to <strong>Maejo University<\/strong> on <strong>17 February 2004<\/strong> with a budget of <strong>430,000 baht<\/strong>.
