หวด (อ่านว่า: หวด) หรือ ซ้าหวด เป็นภาชนะจักสานจากไม้ไผ่ มีลักษณะคล้ายกรวยปากบานหรือก้นสอบ ใช้สำหรับนึ่งข้าวเหนียว โดยนำข้าวเหนียวที่แช่น้ำแล้วใส่ในหวด จากนั้นวางบนหม้อนึ่งที่มีน้ำเดือดด้านล่าง เพื่อให้ไอน้ำลอยขึ้นมาทำให้ข้าวสุกทั่วถึงและมีกลิ่นหอม

A sticky rice steaming basket, called Huat or Sa Huat, is a traditional bamboo basket shaped like a cone with a wide opening. It is used to steam sticky rice. Soaked rice is placed inside the basket, which is then set on top of a steaming pot with boiling water below. Steam rises through the woven bamboo, cooking the rice evenly and giving it a distinctive aroma.
