A wooden animal bell is a traditional device hung around the neck of livestock such as cattle or buffalo. It is usually made from hardwood with a hollow interior and a small wooden striker inside. When the animal moves, the striker hits the wooden body and produces a sound, allowing the owner to locate the animal while it grazes in fields or forests.
