พระพิรุณทรงนาค อนุสรณ์แม่โจ้ รุ่น 27 สร้างขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2510 เพื่อเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความอุดมสมบูรณ์ ตามความเชื่อว่าพระพิรุณเป็นเทพแห่งฝนและมีพญานาคเป็นพาหนะนำฝนสู่แผ่นดิน ออกแบบโดย อาจารย์นิกร อักษรพรหม และจัดสร้างโดยศิษย์เก่ารุ่น 27 เดิมบริเวณรอบประติมากรรมมี สระบัวล้อมรอบ ซึ่งเคยถูกขุดกลบเพื่อให้เข้าถึงได้สะดวก ภายหลัง อาจารย์วิภาต บุญศรี วังซ้าย ได้สั่งให้ขุดสระกลับคืนตามเดิม เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับคติที่ว่านาคต้องคู่กับน้ำ ปัจจุบันประติมากรรมนี้ได้รับการบูรณะและตั้งเด่นเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของสถาบัน

The Phra Phirun on Naga Statue, a monument of Maejo Alumni Class 27, was built in 1967 (B.E. 2510) as a symbol of abundance. In traditional belief, Phra Phirun is the god of rain who rides the Naga, the mythical serpent associated with water and fertility. The monument was designed by Ajarn Nikorn Aksornprom and constructed by Alumni Class 27. Originally, a lotus pond surrounded the statue, but it was later filled in to allow easier access. Ajarn Wipat Boonsri Wangsai later ordered the pond to be restored, following the belief that the Naga must be associated with water. Today, the sculpture has been restored and stands prominently as a symbol of the institution.
