เครื่องฉายภาพทึบแสง หรือ เอพิดิอาสโคป (Epidiascope) คืออุปกรณ์สำหรับ ฉายภาพจากวัสดุที่ไม่โปร่งแสง เช่น หน้าหนังสือ รูปถ่าย หรือวัตถุขนาดเล็ก ลงบนฉากรับภาพ โดยใช้แสงความเข้มสูงส่องไปที่วัตถุ แล้วสะท้อนผ่านกระจกและเลนส์เพื่อขยายภาพ เครื่องมือนี้เคยมีบทบาทสำคัญในการเรียนการสอน เพราะสามารถนำ ต้นฉบับจริงมาแสดงให้คนจำนวนมากดูพร้อมกัน ได้โดยไม่ต้องแปลงเป็นฟิล์มหรือแผ่นใส

An opaque projector, also known as an epidiascope, is a device used to project images from non-transparent materials such as book pages, photographs, or small objects onto a screen. It works by shining a strong light onto the object and reflecting the image through mirrors and lenses for projection. In the past, it was widely used in teaching because it allowed original materials to be displayed to a large audience without converting them into film or transparencies.
